Meet the beautiful Nyah! I am so happy that I was able to squeeze this lovely lady into my schedule. She has the most beautiful skin and those curls! I have never seen so much curly hair on a new baby! We used a lot of color in her session, which is why the images I am sharing from her session are all in color vs black and white. Her beautiful aqua and coral floral headband is from Pretty and Pink Boutique . She was a pro a modeling today! She ate, slept, ate, and slept some more! I hope to see her again in the upcoming months. I will be adding a My First Year package on my website for clients. Stay tuned for updates!

I just loved this session. The location, weather, & lighting were perfect! It was so much fun meeting Rich & Thai’s extended family. Isn’t it funny how you can see so much similarities between siblings & parents?! It’s not just looks either, but their mannerisms! Hmm…I wonder if my family is the same way?!
I had such a fun time putting together the props for this special first birthday.  I was excited to turn my thrift store find into a fabulous mint child’s chair! Nothing like a little elbow grease and TLC! I found a tutorial on DIY tassle garland on Pinterest for the balloon tassles. (Follow me on Pinterest!) The tutorial can be found on Linen, Lace, & Love’s blog. I just love how the mint chair and pink props brought out Lily’s outfit! So glad that Lynda & Todd were able to bring Lily to the sunshine state for her first birthday pictures. Grandma & grandpa were in heaven with both their granddaughters in tow! These girls will have so much fun growing up with a cousin so close in age! 🙂

Here’s my first session of the new year! We had to reschedule because of the unusual freeze that came through, but it worked out in the long run! The weather was crisp, cool, & the sun light was beautiful! Rich & Thai have been friends of mine for a long time. Friends from back in the day, when I used to work at Bennigan’s during the college years. Those were also my days of being a photographer for Flash Foto. (I used to day dream about keeping their camera equipment!)
Enjoy a few of my favorites from their session & a few from their session last year when Brielle was born. I just love seeing photos from then & now! 🙂 Special thanks to these wonderful friends for their support and allowing me to capture their family over the past year!

I’m trying something different on the blog -a storyboard. There are some many photos from this session that I just loved. I wish there was a storyboard big enough for all of them! Mom wanted to incorporate a frame into her shoot and I absolutely loved it! We hit up one of mom’s favorite lakeside parks. This baby girl is just picture perfect! Her grandma so kindly made her a  monogrammed dress and adorable headband. (You’re never to young to start accessorizing!) This doll enjoys rides in her strollers, wind blowing in her face, and mama’s silly faces. Happy 6 month birthday! 🙂
