45 Days left till Christmas!!! I can’t believe how close we are to ending the year. I wanted to update my blog and thank everyone for keeping me busy the last few months. Holiday mini sessions were a huge success! I did several holiday mini sessions in Orlando, Winter Park, Winter Garden, Apopka, Lake Mary, and New Smyrna Beach. Phew! I’m exhausted. My blog has been a little lonely, but rest assure I will try to blog every session from this year before the 31st! 🙂

I had to bump my friends up on the blog before Princess Ariana arrives. Praying she arrives quickly & healthy! I had a great time with them at their baby shower on Saturday and photo shoot on Sunday! I must say it is easier to get so many outfit changes in when you are shooting friends. I drilled them like an army sergeant – look up, smile, look down, less smiley, look at each other, move your arm, nope the other arm, Cory do some push ups! The love between these two is something I can’t direct or Photoshop in. They are over the moon excited to start their lifelong adventure together as parents. Rachel’s beautiful makeup was done by the talented Jamie Bojack. Special thanks to my assistant, Kristin, for helping me and for most importantly fanning Rachel on this super hot day! I’m looking forward to meeting this princess soon!

Just about three more weeks until this beautiful baby girl makes her debut! I’m so excited for them! Chrissy & Jason were such a fun couple to meet. They are so easy going and seemed up for anything during our shoot. Those are great qualities for future parents-to-be! They are friends of a friend and I’m so grateful to have been referred to them. Lighting is a key player in photography. I strongly recommend that clients shoot within one hour of sunrise or sunset. These two were on-time and looking fabulous for an early morning session. Check out that yummy golden light from their session. We took advantage of all the Spanish Moss nearby & Chrissy pointed out how much Jason liked bamboo. It was a small patch of bamboo, but you would never know by the picture! I’m looking forward to meeting their new baby girl & their two fur babies in a few weeks. I have lots of new props and accessories for their little girl to try on. Let the countdown begin!

Child Photographer Winter Park
Sharing some of my favorites from this birthday session! For Autumn’s 2nd birthday photos we went to Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park. It is one of my favorite locations in Central Florida. It’s provides such a rich backdrop for any session. I tweaked the birthday board for Autumn to incorporate more fun 2 year old facts with a dash of mickey ears. 🙂 I hope they look back on these photos and read her birthday board in the years to come. I think her “Pop Pickles” for popsicles is my favorite part. Don’t you wish you can just freeze time?!

I just loved this session. The location, weather, & lighting were perfect! It was so much fun meeting Rich & Thai’s extended family. Isn’t it funny how you can see so much similarities between siblings & parents?! It’s not just looks either, but their mannerisms! Hmm…I wonder if my family is the same way?!
I had such a fun time putting together the props for this special first birthday. I was excited to turn my thrift store find into a fabulous mint child’s chair! Nothing like a little elbow grease and TLC! I found a tutorial on DIY tassle garland on Pinterest for the balloon tassles. (Follow me on Pinterest!) The tutorial can be found on Linen, Lace, & Love’s blog. I just love how the mint chair and pink props brought out Lily’s outfit! So glad that Lynda & Todd were able to bring Lily to the sunshine state for her first birthday pictures. Grandma & grandpa were in heaven with both their granddaughters in tow! These girls will have so much fun growing up with a cousin so close in age! 🙂
